About Me

My name is Charley and I hold space for students to tune into their body, mind, and emotions while empowering them with the tools to carry their yoga practice off the mat and into their everyday lives.

My personal yoga journey began over 12 years ago when I sought out yoga as a source of physical healing post car accident. Not long after, I realized the emotional and mental healing aspects were even more significant than physical progress. Yoga has changed my relationship with myself, with others, and brought me to a place of awareness between the joys and struggles of all beings.

I have been a 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher since 2016 and completed my 300-hour training with Susanna Barkataki in 2020. I have experience teaching both seasoned and first-time yoga students. It is important to me that everyone feels at home doing yoga, so I try and offer as many variations of shapes as possible. However, yoga is so much more than moving your body! It is a practice of mindfulness, inner peace, ethics, and healing, among other things. If you have any hesitation please reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Down to Earth Yoga offers classes for your workplace, private individual, private couples, or private group classes, pop-up community classes, as well as special events. Depending on your location and comfort level, some of these offerings may be done in person or virtually.
